Father Arrested For Child Abuse

Kids say the darndest things and sometimes they do things that make you want to chuck a coffee mug at them, which is a felony.
On November 10th, sometime near 12:09 PM, Officers with the North Platte Police Department were called to the 100 block of West William Ave because of a disturbance.
The suspect, Michael Davis, told the officers that his teenager was ‘acting in an uncontrollable fashion’ which during an argument, allegedly struck Davis, leaving a minor injury.
The teen was interviewed and according to the NPPD, Davis allegedly threw a coffee cup at his teenager, which caused injury.
Authorities say that Davis threw the cup at the teen which followed by the teen striking Davis.
Michael Davis was arrested and booked into the Lincoln County Detention Center, charged with child abuse.
The teen was cited and released for being an uncontrollable juvenile and 3rd degree assault.
Sorry but all those kids are uncontrollable!!! They have damaged numerous properties in this neighborhood! Something needs to be done!
thats because parents get in trouble for disciplining the kids. not condoning throwing a coffee cup but we as parents have lost the battle.

If you know the parent is allowing them to drink since ten and have not reported it, YOU are gulity of child endangerment!
Well if you must know the cops are well informed about what this kid does.
Why should any parent have to put up with being treated like Micheal has been treated by the uncrontrollable teen? I don’t condone child abuse, but when you can’t defend yourself something isn’t right. No matter what you do, you lose.

Ok now im kinda pissed i am not an idiot i mattured up a long time ago. Who are u anyway Father of Christmas. And single mom isnt the one that got me drunk the first time it was a friend that did. but i left that kind of stuff last year when i got put on house arrest over it. but i agree that she should keep to her self.

Maybe if you paid more attention to your kids dad he would not be doing drugs and running throw the trail parks in the buff. But then again who am i to Judge your life. Mine is not as perfect as you think yours is. Maybe you should go run after that dog.

Daniel is a good kid. Everyone makes mistakes. Who are any of you to judge him or anyone in there family? You should all look at yourselves before criticizing anyone. Keep your head up Daniel you know the truth and that’s all that matters!
Here’s a thought how about kids stop arguing, talking etc. to parents, who provide a home for you to live, food to eat,etc. how about kids learn respect and then they won’t have a coffee cup thrown at them; not saying it was right but had he turned you over on his knee ans spanked your butt he would still be in trouble. The same old saying holds true “just wait til you have kids”
I completely agree with you!!! The problem now days is that kids are disrespectful and just plain RUDE! If I would have acted like any of these kids that are on here for being in trouble, I would not have lived to see the next day! I will NOT have my children act like this! They do and I will be in trouble just like this parent!
