You don’t know the circumstances and should not judge. The family is worried and wants them home. Not a cool comment, AgainstStupidPpl and you should help the family get them home, not bash them. Everyone makes bad choices. We need to help them get to adulthood and learn to make smart choices.

If they are truly runaways why do we care ?

You are truly ignorant and should cease existance. Your name does justice to your comment, maybe you should keep it to your-self next time.

Obviously this person has no children or even has anyone to care about. Why care? Why would anyone care about you? Answer that and you’ve got your answer to your question.

I care because her Mom was one of my best friends in high school. I care because her family is scared for her. I care because I am a mother and would not want to live through that. We all make mistakes in life. But I care because I have a big heart and want her home with the people that love her, with all of her faults and goodness and beauty and spunk. Why not care?

Imagine if it was someone you loved that ran away? You wouldn’t be making those stupid comments. And they weren’t teenage punks, I know Amanda very well and she is a very nice girl who is very smart. It’s people like you that have nothing better to do with their lives then sit on the damn internet and make rediculous comments like that. On the other hand, very well said dbmc_mommy!

We care because it “takes a village” to care for our kids. If one of mine were missing I would hope my friends and neighbors would help search!

Because if it was your son, daughter, sister, brother… etc. there are enough good-hearted people out there who would be willing to help you find them. Yes they ran away, but there are lots of people who care about them out there who are broken-hearted and sick with worry. Everyone makes mistakes and they will learn from them. That’s part of growing up. Please everyone, just help get them home safe!

I have been in these parents shoes and believe me it was the worst 5 days of my life not knowing where my daughter was. She ran away with a boyfriend (from Ogallala, believe it or not). She was living with her dad at the time and I was living in Denver. They came to Denver and hid out at an apt. of the boyfriends friend. I had never met the boyfriend (he was 17, my daughter 16) , but had heard stories about him that scared the daylights out of me. Long story short, they were found safe and sound (thanks to the boyfriend convincing her they needed to call me). Shortly after that she became pregnant and had a baby at 17. That was a real turning point for my daughter. It was like she was at a crossroads and knew she could take the path she was on that was leading nowhere, or she could try and do the best thing for her and her baby. She dumped the boyfriend, went to college, got an RN degree and is now a very happy, responsible wife, mother, and hospice nurse. I couldn’t be more proud of her. Sometimes what seems the darkest time of our lives turn out to be a blessing in disguise. I hope both of these kids are both found safe and can the support they need to get on the right track again.

very stupid that you posted this over 24 hours after MrBrownStains posted the very unkind comment. Maybe we will move on after the teens are found. There are a lot of people in the area that give a crap. Thoughtless comments don’t help the situation

Amanda Stoner is my child, and it is worthy to look for her!! She is beautiful wonderful great girl who deserves to be loved!! She needs to come home to people who love her and miss her terribly!! Why are people so mean? I think that if more people cared about others the way the do themselves this world wouldn’t completely suck. I think that is the whole point, my child is 17 and missing and its people that are like mr brown stains there that make this world suck. My daughter is still a child and not ready to deal with people like mr brown pants and the likes.

Teenagers are NOT punks…they are simple human beings and we ARE ALL GOD’S CHILDREN regardless of age, sex, religion, etc. and you don’t have to believe in Him to believe in you. My heart goes out to the parents of these children; being a mom is very hard and it can be excruciating to not know where you’re children are or if they are safe. AND you can’t be too trusting-Kaylee Clapp knew her killer too. And she was a WONDERFUL girl that is extremely missed by her family and friends. DON’T be cruel…these are children that need to know that people care about them. CALL your MOM……
