Hershey Woman Dies In Fatal Accident
At 12:15 on Monday morning, the report of an accident at North Prairie Trace Road and West Platte Valley Road, north of Sutherland. It was reported that a vehicle ran off the road and there was at least one serious injury.
The vehicle involved in the fatality was a 1996 Ford F-250 Pickup and was occupied by 24-year-old Korey E. Huebner of Hershey, 24-year-old Micah B Koch of Hershey, and 28-year-old Jay D. Shotkoski of Hershey.
According to the LCSO, the vehicle drove through an intersection while heading westbound.
“The pickup was westbound on Platte Valley Road when it drove through the intersection of Prairie Trace Road, striking the dirt bank on the west side of the road and coming to rest.”
Korey Huebner died as a result of her injuries.
“All subjects were transported to Great Plains Regional Medical Center for injuries. Ms. Huebner was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. for additional treatment. ”
“Around 07:00 a.m., Deputies were informed that Ms. Huebner had died as a result of her injuries. Alcohol is believed to be involved in the accident and seatbelts were not in use. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as time allows. ”
So sorry for the families involved. THIS is just horrible to have to hear.

Just wish these Kids would learn, we would not have to here of such a tragedy.
Thats what happens when you drink and drive and not wear your seatbelts only takes one time! You would think people would learn. Feel really sorry for the family! Really sad to read this!

This just makes my heart hurt.. So many of us have stupidly done the exact same thing and by luck made it out alive… It’s stories like these that make us have to trust in God and believe that he knows what he’s doing.
