A big night from Jordan Hooper led the Husker women’s basketball team to their first road win over Ohio State since 1990. Hooper scored 28 points and snagged seven rebounds to pace the Huskers in their 62-53 triumph over the Buckeyes. Among her game high points tally were five three-pointers and six straight points in the late stages that moved a seven-point Husker lead into double figures. Lindsey Moore added 11 points and Emily Cady chipped in 10 for the Huskers, who shot 44 percent as a team. Rachel Theriot just missed double figures, scoring nine points off the bench. The win moves the Big Red to 15-6 overall. They finish the first half of the Big Ten season with a 5-3 record. Nebraska is back in action on Sunday. They return to the Devaney Center to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
