Kristin didn’t even have to appear. The system is so messed up that cops take parents from their little children on false charges. Not only that but the humiliation involved is not necessary. Good job North Platte. Really. I’m so proud that our cops spend their time capturing innocent people. I can only imagine how bad it would be if all the criminals were in jail. Wow, terrible..(heavy sarcasm)
The cops can only act on the information provided to them when they check to se if the person has a warrant. I highly doubt the cop wanted to take her away from her family but if someone has an outstanding warrant they must take that person to jail. Sometimes the court messed up and didn’t remove the warrant after it was taken care of but that’s obviously not the cops fault. Same thing happened to my cousin and I don’t feel one bit of remorse because he did fail to appear for a crime he committed and that generated the warrant. Wasn’t the cops fault my cousin is a dirt bag he was simply doing his job. People need to accept responsibility for their actions and if they commit a crime show up for court and this wouldn’t happen. Stop enabling her poor choices and encourage her not to wind up in court in the first place instead of ignorantly blaming the only person you can. I am sick of people running their mouths about these men and women out there protecting us day to day. Only trouble makers dislike the law and ain’t nobody got time for that!
