19-Year-Old Ogallala Woman Killed in Early Morning Crash

An Ogallala teen is dead following an early morning car crash.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the crash happened just outside of Hershey at about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.
According to authorities, a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Casey Lake of Grant was heading west on Interstate 80 when she lost control of the vehicle and over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll several times.
19-year-old Emma Redinger of Ogallala was killed in the accident.
Troopers with the State Patrol are still investigating the cause of the crash and no further details were available.

My heart is breaking for her family. I know them on both sides. Went to the same schools with both parents. We lost our son 4 years ago. The pain they are going thru is cold, hard and doesn’t stop. I pray for God’s Peace and Comfort for all family members. I love you guys. I am so sorry. Hugs.
