6 duis in one night. Youd think North Platte would wise up and offer more than one cab to offer rides home to keep these people off the road. If 6 were caught how many others made it home without getting stopped?

Anyone who goes out, hits the bars, and chooses to drive home is most likely under the impression, not to mention a grand delusion, they won’t get caught since everything in this town is basically a 5 minute drive from where you’re at.

Or cab service closes before the bars do, I’m a bartender and try calling cabs for my customers, usually they’re either not running or it’ll be such a long wait the person needing the ride will take off before they show up. I know they’re doing the best they can but they could definitely use some more man-power..

They’re trying to get more drivers. It’s been a long and hard process for the company. However, I do believe that if one goes out they choose to drive after drinking. There’s no reason that people in North Platte can’t live like people in cities and have someone assigned as the DD.

To Mel from the bar. I thought it was illegal for you to serve anyone who you thought was drunk. Of course, they could have come from another bar and would guess that is when you try to call a cab.

Stop blaming a company and start blaming the people who think that breaking the law is ok. I swear half this town has gone full retard.
