Dorothy L. Fear, 87, of Wallace, passed away April 3, 2013 at Centennial Park Retirement Village of North Platte. Dorothy was born February 14, 1926 in Elsie, NE to James and Lilly R. (Dalgren) Brown. She married Guy Lloyd Fear November 17, 1943. He preceded her in death on Christmas Day in 2001. Dorothy always had a large garden, was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed all sewing and knitting. After her children were grown she went to Beauty School in McCook, working as a beautician in Wallace until her sight failed her. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother. She is survived by a brother; four sisters; her son, Micheal (Pam); a daughter, Sandra (Kyle) McQueen all of North Platte; seven grandchildren, Sapphira Fear, Gabrielle (JJ) Holson, John (Robin Waters) McQueen, Janet (LaVerne) Gordon, Melissa Buss, Brenda (David) Andre and Jackie McQueen; and nine great grandchildren, Jazmine and Lavender Holson, Ryan and Justin Andre, Calvin Buss, Emma, Tatem, Grace and Margaret Gordon. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Morningview Cemetery near Wallace. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
