This game has been postponed due to weather. No makeup date has been set.

The time has come for Nebraska and Creighton to renew acquaintances on the diamond. The two in-state rivals meet for the first time this season tonight at Hawks Field in Lincoln. The Huskers enter the game off of their third straight series win in Big Ten play. That’s the first time they’ve accomplished such a streak in conference play since 2008. But the Bluejays are even hotter, coming in ranked 30th in the latest Collegiate Baseball poll thanks to an 18-6 overall record and a four-game winning streak. The Jays lost two out of three to the Huskers last season, and will look to start this year’s series off on the right foot by starting their ace, Tommy Strunc. Nebraska will counter on the mound with Brandon Pierce. First pitch is set for 6:35. The game will be broadcast statewide on NET.
