It’s not going to be a beautiful day for baseball, but Nebraska and Arkansas will do their best to “play two” anyway. The Huskers and Razorbacks will square off in a doubleheader this afternoon and evening at Hawks Field. The teams were originally scheduled to play a standard two-game series today and tomorrow, but the threat of inclement weather forced the decision to play the doubleheader today. Nebraska comes into today off of their first Big Ten series loss of the season. They dropped two of three to Ohio State at home to fall to 8-4 in the league and 14-19 overall. Arkansas comes to Lincoln as the 12th-ranked team in the nation, with a 25-12 record and a 9-6 mark in SEC play. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled for a 3:05 start. Game two will start no earlier than 6:35 and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
