After opening the season with eight consecutive home wins, the Colorado Rockies were finally tripped up on their home turf. A ninth-inning rally by the Arizona Diamondbacks gave them a 5-4 win over the Rockies, who saw their eight-game winning streak come to an end. Troy Tulowitzki’s sixth homer of the season gave the Rockies a 4-2 lead in the sixth. But the D-Backs got a run in the eighth and then scored two in the ninth on an RBI groundout and a sac fly to steal the game. The Rockies finish their home stand 5-1 and are 13-5 overall. They head out on the road tonight to start a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves, who are tied with the Rockies for the best record in the National League. ESPN Radio 1410 has all the action, with the pregame show at 7:05 and first pitch at 7:40.
