Betty Jane Palmer

Betty Jane Palmer, 77, of North Platte, passed away June 10, 2013, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center.
Betty was born on Jan. 22, 1936, in Kansas City, Mo., to William and Twila Keith. She moved to North Platte when she was young.
Betty was united in marriage to Everett Palmer Sr. on July 9, 1954, in North Platte. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the family requests memorials to the church.
Betty is survived by her son, Everett (Connie) Palmer Jr., of North Platte; her daughter, Linda (Kent) Palmer-Reeves, of Rockledge, Fla.; her sister, Sibel (Sam) Redman, of Owensboro, Ky.; two grandchildren, Kevin and Kody; her caregiver, Annie; and other relatives.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 14, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be at a later date at Fort McPherson National Cemetery. Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., today, and Thursday, June 13, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
