9:00 a.m.- 5th Annual Wellfleet Stock Dog Classic – For more info call Eddie Merritt- 362-4384

9:00 a.m.- 2nd Annual Wellfleet Idol Competition- $10 Entry, Open to all ages, Preliminaries start at 9am, Semi- Finals 10:00am, Finals at 10:30 am. Can you Sing??? Winner wins Cash – For more info call Jodi-289-1301

9:30 a.m. – Mountain Bike Cross Country Ride- $15 Early-Entry fee
$20 Entry Day ~ Registration 9 am @ fire hall. For more info call Jodi 289-1301

10:00 a.m.- Open Class Photography Contest- $5 entry- Community Hall, limited to 5 photos, Photos must be entered by 10am, Hall opens at 9am and must be picked up by 4pm. Prizes will be awarded.

11:00 a.m.- Huskers vs UCLA Football on the big screen

Sheep Chip Bingo- All Day

Frog & Turtle Races- thru-out the day- Bring your own frog or turtle

Noon-Free Pit BBQ- Sponsored by Wellfleet Community Club

Noon-Pie and Ice Cream Social- Sponsored by area churches

1:00 p.m. – Beer Garden Opens- Sponsored by Wellfleet Volunteer Fire Dept.

1:00 p.m.-1a.m. – Wellfleet’s Barn Branding begins- Bring your brand so you can brand our barn. $10/ brand. All proceeds go towards Wellfleet Community Clubs new shelter.

2:00 p.m. Parade – Main street – Theme: “Redneck Around Here”

Old West Entertainment- On Main Street after the parade

After Parade- Kids Games, Foot Races, Penny Scramble, Stik Horse Team Penning, Mutton Busting and more.

3:00 p.m. Team Sorting- behind fire hall- For More info call Vern Norgaard 362-4425 or Mark Votaw 963-4270

3:00 p.m. Redneck Games begin- located inside beer garden, volleybeer, redneck horseshoes, etc.

3:30 p.m. Free Watermelon Feed at Picnic Shelter- Compliments of McDermott Auction Service

4:30 p.m. Poker Run Train Ride $5 Entry Fee- Starts at Fire Hall
