  • Easy to judge

I realize 90% of the people that post harsh comments on here are people that have little to no experience with addiction and how it can destroy your life in far more ways than just drinking and using all the time, and where as I don’t condone nor make excuses for child abuse. The overwhelming percentage of people who, they themselves grew up in an abusive home are the ones committing these heartless crimes. They have a chance to change.
In Wylie’s case it’s clear that there is an addiction in the equation. Nobody can truly understand nor keep from judging someone unless they have been through what an addict has. I pray that those of you who make harsh judgement will never experience a life like that, but with addiction so prevalent these days it might not hurt to educate yourselves on the subject a little before chalking it up to someone being a dumb a$$. Thank God no one was killed, and he too has a chance to change.

not calling anyone names here-but as someone with past experience-now in recovery-drinking or drugging never made it ok for me to break the law-EVER. it’s not like I didn’t know right from wrong-shoot, most of us learn that at a very early age…I made a lot of mistakes in my life, but it was up to me to make the change-and trust me- a lot of what I did would mark me as a dumb azz….there’s a big difference between empathy and sympathy, just sayin

Having faced & beaten an addiction, I can say they are hard to beat, but YOU have to want to beat it. Adiction is not a valid excuse!! you can be a drunk, & not drive drunk, that is all on him, & if you say any different, then you are flat wrong!!
I’m not saying I never drove drunk, cause I have, but I will say that it was no ones fault but my own that I did, & I thank God that I never killed or hurt anyone with my ignorance!

if wylie really wanted to change he has had several years to do it so don’t blame it on an addiction,
he wants to drink he does not want to stop he could of got help years ago but it was his choice not to . so every thing he has coming to him is his own stupid azz fault he has no one to blame don’t try to blame it on an addiction . its his choice. he has been a complete train wreck for years.
