Driver Dies After Southeast Neb. Crash

fatal-accident(AP) — A 22-year-old woman has died after a crash on a rural road in southeast Nebraska.

The accident was discovered about 3 a.m. Sunday on Fillmore County Road northwest of Fairmont.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office says Kourtney Robbins, of Sutton, was headed south when she lost control of her vehicle after it entered a ditch. She overcorrected and shot across the road into a ditch on the other side. The vehicle ended up lying on the driver’s side. Robbins was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. She’d been alone in her vehicle.
