Storm Drops 7 Inches of Snow in Southeast Nebraska

snowstormOMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Most of Nebraska avoided snow this weekend, but the southeast corner of the state received as much as 7 inches of snow.

The deepest snow was reported in Pawnee City, but 4 to 8 inches of snow was common across far southeast Nebraska.

Nearly 7 inches of snow fell near Rulo and about 6 inches of snow fell in Auburn and Humboldt.

Only about an inch of snow fell in Omaha. That was enough to create some slick roads in the state’s largest city, but not many serious problems.
