Hazel M. Wolf, age 79 of Stapleton, went to her Eternal home on March 8, 2014 at The Good Life Nursing Home in Callaway, NE.
Hazel was born on March 10, 1934 in Sutherland, NE to Herbert and Daisy (Trembly) Rundback. She was baptized on July 2, 1950 at the White Horse River in North Platte, NE. She attended grade school at a country school near Ringgold, NE and graduated from North Platte High School in 1953. After graduation she attended Airline Personnel Training in Omaha, NE. On February 6, 1954 Hazel married Robert L. Wolf in New Almelo, KS. And to this union three children were born, Herbert Leo, Michael Leon and Rose Ellen. Hazel enjoyed her animals, flowers and reading, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hazel is survived by her husband Robert of Stapleton; children Herbert of North Platte, Michael (Juanita) of Scott City, KS, and Rose Ramm of Stuart, NE; 8 grandchildren Wade Wolf and Cailin Wolf both of North Platte, Stacy Wolf of Scott City, KS, Kindra Mills of Lakin, KS, Justin Ramm of Stuart, NE, Mathew Ramm of Gretna, NE, Rebecca Ramm of Atkinson, NE and Trevor Ramm of Stuart, NE; 5 great grandchildren Dillon Wolf of North Platte, NE, Tina Wilson and Jordan Wilson both of Lakin, KS, Kayde Ramm and Klaire Ramm both of Stuart, NE; brother Carl (Jo Gates) Rundback; sister Irene (Gary) Branham; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary Lou (Rundback) Lake; son-in-law Michael Ramm; and grandson Tony Wolf.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com. Funeral services will be held at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 12, 2014 with Pastor Duane Dunwoody officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
