LINCOLN – The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is proud to announce a new partnership
with Pump & Pantry convenience stores kicking off this fall. Together, the NSAA and Pump & Pantry
will be initiating a student-based initiative promoting school spirit for the 2014-2015 school year, called
the School Spirit Award Program.
As part of the School Spirit Award Program, NSAA member schools will share photos of their students
and fans showcasing positive support and excitement at NSAA events via social media. Winning photos
may be featured throughout the year on the NSAA website, additional publications and at NSAA State
Championships. The respective winning schools will also receive a $250 gas card provided by Pump &
Pantry to support team and fan travel.
“The NSAA is extremely excited to partner with Pump & Pantry, particularly surrounding the School
Spirit platform,” said NSAA Executive Director Rhonda Blanford-Green. “The NSAA encompasses so
much more than the competitions themselves. We are thrilled that Pump & Pantry shares in the NSAA’s
mission to embrace the benefits of participation.”
Fifty Pump & Pantry convenience stores are located throughout Nebraska, offering quality fuel, snacks,
beverages, groceries, automobile accessories and a host of other convenient services.
