Overnight storms bring rain, more could come tonight (Rain Gauge Report 4/26/24)

North Platte - The Nebraska Department of Natural Resources has data collected from rainfall each day of the year. Below are totals from the POST area from the overnight period of April 25-April 26 at 7am local times. 

The National Weather Service in North Platte says showers are likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 4pm on Friday, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 62. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
