Grant, Neb. - Road work is underway east of Grant from N-61 junction the Perkins-Lincoln County line according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT). A highway shouldering and seeding project began April 15 on N-23.

State maintenance forces will be performing the work, which includes the grading and repair of the sod shoulders with seeding and mulching to follow. Traffic will be maintained with pilot car and flaggers. The work is anticipated to take 20 days.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
