North Platte, Neb. - The Mid-Plains United Way is preparing to announce the 2024-2025 agency partners as the board is finalizing the last presentations from non-profits who submitted in an application. The new agencies will be announced sometime next week. As the campaign year ends, the united way is around $169,000 out of the $200,000 goal and making a last push effort. &nbsp;

Folks can now donate monthly if they like or May 8th is Giving Day which the united way will be a part of. As details become available, Mid-Plains United Way is preparing to host an event in June called human tractor pull. The event will run during NebraskaLand Days.&nbsp;
