NORTH PLATTE - March 25th - 29th is Nebraska Severe Weather Awareness Week to share information and tips for Nebraskans safety. The National Weather Service announced On Wednesday, March 27th at 10:00am (CT)/9:00am (MT) a statewide tornado test drill will take place.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Rob Cox hopes schools, organizations, businesses, and the public to test their tornado plans during the test. Some communities may use their tornado sirens during the test while other communities may choose not to.
